Since iOS 11 is imminent, the talk of the town is now iOS 11 jailbreak. Apple is aggressively patching up any bugs or loopholes found in its Operating System. iOS 11 beta 7 is now available, but there are no strong claims about iOS 11 jailbreak yet.
iOS 11 Jailbreak
With every beta release from Apple, which usually has some bugs and vulnerabilities, developers tease with jailbreak in their videos or pics. Security research team KeenLab has already demonstrated the iOS 11 jailbreak on iPhone 7. So, it at least confirms that the iOS 11 jailbreak is possible (at least for iOS 11 beta). So even if the hackers can jailbreak iOS 11 in beta phase, they won’t release it until the final version of iOS 11 is released. The reason is simple; no one would want to tell Apple about the loopholes as they will fix it before releasing iOS 11.
At the moment, iOS 9.3.5 jailbreak, iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak and 10.2 (64-bit devices except iPhone 7 and 7 Plus) jailbreak available in working condition. All these jailbreaks are semi-untethered which means you lose the jailbreak when you restart the iPhone. And you need to re-jailbreak it.
Luca Todesco, who released Yalu Jailbreak, officially stated that he is not going to work on iOS jailbreaking anymore. On the other hand, Pangu demonstrated iOS 10.3.1 jailbreak on iPhone 7 a while ago, but there is no word on official release.
Is iOS 11 Jailbreak Release Possible?
Well, the jailbreak community has always been a mystery. You never know what is going to happen next. When we were waiting for Pangu to release iOS 9.3.5 jailbreak, new Chinese hackers shocked the jailbreak community by releasing Phoenix jailbreak. So, no matter what vulnerabilities Apple fixes in the latest iOS, an unknown hacker could surprise the jailbreak fans with iOS 11 jailbreak release. So, yes, jailbreak for iOS 11 is surely possible, but we don’t know when it will happen. But before we think about jailbreaking iOS 11, we should hope someone releases iOS 10.3.3 jailbreak (as it is the current and last version of iOS 10).
Every major release of iOS comes with tons of new features which are absolutely innovating. If you want to enjoy the new features of iOS 11 at the risk of losing your existing jailbreak, you can update your device. If you want to wait for a stable public release of a jailbreak tool, stay on your current iOS version. Once upgraded, you cannot downgrade back to the jailbreakable version as Apple stopped signing them.
Let us know what you think about the iOS 11 jailbreak possibilities. Is it possible that Pangu will release the jailbreak for iOS 11 once the iOS 11 final version releases publicly?
